Manifesto
Blood is a life saving resource that lies within all of us. The need for blood donations is constant and it is our responsibility to ensure that there is a healthy and reliable supply in the Cayman Islands through empowerment and education.
We believe in empowering our local community by educating them about the importance of blood donations and the simplicity around the process of donating.
Our aim is to realize the ideal of a self-sustained community with access to blood for the purposes of changing lives, without having to import resources.

Our Vision
To continually captivate, motivate and inspire existing and potential blood donors towards our worthy cause. Our objective is to enhance the lives of the people of the Cayman Islands both domestically and internationally by promoting our country as an exemplary jurisdiction for voluntary blood donation and health promotion.
Organization
A non-profit organization, The Cayman Blood Donor Service, was established in 1999 to support the Cayman Islands Heath Services Authority (HSA). Our aim is to educate the public about the importance and simplicity around the process of voluntarily donating blood as well as act as a liaison between voluntary donors, the HSA and other related agencies.
Governance
Since the incorporation of the Cayman Blood Donor Service in 2013, governance has been provided by a Board of Directors, the majority of which are independent volunteers.
