Platelets are vital for cancer patients and those undergoing major surgeries.

Criteria for Platelet Donation

  • Must have a good vein (large veins preferred)
  • Must have a minimum pre-donation platelet count of 250x10-3
  • Donation process takes at least an hour - 2 hours
  • Frequency: Donate every 1 month

Interested individuals must register on the donor list of platelet donation
